Majorettes of the F. Chopin Mariánské Lázně School of Music

Mrs. Karla Šedivá founded the group of majorettes in 1973 and since then the girls have performed together with the Youth Brass Orchestra at most of its performances. In 1978 Mrs. Eliška Sudová took up the position of group leader. More than 150 girls passed through the group under her leadership. In 2010 MgA. Barbara Mikysková became the artistic leader and choreographer, followed by MgA. Nela Výborná in 2011-2014. From 2014 to 2025 the group was led by Mgr. Petra Koreisová. The current leader of the majorettes is Mgr. Hana Nováková.

The majorettes perform with the orchestra not only in processions, but also at concerts, where audiences can admire the variety and colour of their costumes. The majorettes play a significant role in the successes of the orchestra.
